What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences and, where allowed, understand how pages are used.
How we use cookies
System Stack Tool uses essential cookies to remember your cookie preference and keep basic site functions working. Optional analytics cookies run only if you accept them in the banner. Rejecting optional cookies does not block access to assessments information, contact forms, or field notes.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| sst_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner | 1 year (localStorage) | System Stack Tool |
| sst_session | Essential session continuity for form status messages | Session | System Stack Tool |
| _sst_analytics | Optional aggregate page-view counts (set only after Accept) | 6 months | System Stack Tool |
Managing cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner when it appears. Clearing site data in your browser removes the stored preference and will show the banner again. You can also block cookies entirely in browser settings; essential storage for consent may then reappear each visit.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts from Google Fonts may cause your browser to contact Google’s servers. We do not embed third-party advertising cookies. Image hosts serving illustrative photographs may receive standard request logs when images load.
Impact of disabling
Disabling optional analytics only limits our traffic statistics. Disabling all storage may reset the banner and form status messages but will not prevent you from reading content or sending a message.
